PS5 UART reading with automatic interpretation of the error codes

The PS5 tells you what is wrong. We translate it.

Hook the USB-TTL adapter to the test points and read Syscon/EMC right in the browser. Every code that comes up is already matched against the error database.

  • Reads at 115200 baud straight in Chrome, no software to install
  • Full error history from the console, including what was already cleared from the screen
  • Diagram of the UART points on the board included
  • Also available for PS3 and PS4
Xbox One and Series POST code reading with automatic decoding

Xbox POST codes decoded on the spot

Xbox One Fat, S, X, Series S and Series X. The raw log goes in one side and comes out decoded on the other, telling you exactly where the console stalled.

  • Model picker and automatic serial reading
  • Separate tabs for diagnostics and for errors
  • Log scrolls on its own while the console boots
  • Wiring diagram and usage guide right on the screen
PS4 NOR analysis and repair with model, serial and flag detection

Read, fix and reflash the PS4 NOR

Drop the .bin dump on the screen and the platform opens the whole NOR: model, SKU, serial number, MAC, southbridge, firmware. Then you fix it and write it back.

  • Takes 16 MB and 32 MB dumps (XGecu T48, CH341A and similar)
  • Turns the flag UART and the Memory Test on or off
  • Shows current FW and minimum FW, so you do not blow a downgrade
  • Backs up the original before any change
Controller tester showing buttons, triggers and sticks in real time

Show the customer the controller is 100% again

Plug the controller in and test everything on screen: every button, every trigger and a live trace of both sticks. It doubles as a visual report at handover.

  • PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series and Switch Pro
  • Stick graph so you can see drift and dead zone
  • Rumble test and axis readout
  • Dedicated calibrator to fix drift on the DualShock 4 and DualSense
HDD, SSD and NVMe health analyzer with bad blocks and power-on hours

Know if the drive is the problem before replacing it

Analyze an HDD, SSD or NVMe and find out whether it is worth keeping. Report with problem blocks, temperature and power-on hours.

  • Bad and reallocated sectors
  • Power-on hours and working temperature
  • Clear diagnosis to justify the replacement to the customer
  • Keeps you from shipping a console with a bad drive and getting it back on warranty
The difference on the bench

Same fault, two roads

This is where LevelUp pays for itself: in the time you stop losing.

Without the platform

  • Hours hunting for a schematic in WhatsApp groups and dead links
  • Outdated boardview, from a revision that is not the one on your bench
  • Error code scribbled on paper and searched on a foreign forum
  • Swapping parts on a hunch and eating the loss when it was not the part
  • Console sitting on the bench with the customer calling

With LevelUp

  • Schematic and boardview for the right revision, in seconds
  • Voltage map to compare point by point
  • The tool itself reads the error and tells you what it means
  • You replace the right part the first time
  • More consoles out the door every week, with a report to show

Questions

Frequently Asked Questions

What techs ask most before subscribing.

Do I have to install any software?
No. Everything runs in the browser, including the UART and PostOut tools, which talk to the serial port straight through Chrome or Edge. For those you only need the USB-TTL adapter you already keep on the bench.
Is my console covered? How do I know it is there?
There are 84 documented consoles across PlayStation, Xbox, Nintendo and retro, with 83 schematics and boardviews. The library grows every week and new revisions come at no extra cost. If a model is missing, just ask through Support or the Forum.
Can I cancel at any time?
Yes, no penalty and no lock-in contract. If you cancel mid period, you keep access until the end of the cycle you already paid for.
Is it useful for someone just starting out?
It is. The tools explain what each code means instead of just showing the number, and the Forum has real cases discussed by more experienced techs. It is like having someone next to you while you learn the board.
How does payment work?
Credit card processed by Stripe, with automatic renewal. Access is released as soon as the payment is approved, usually in seconds.
Is there support if I get stuck?
There is support for using the platform (access, tools, account). For repair questions themselves, the place to go is the Repair Forum, where the community of techs works through real cases.
